Te Papa Tongarewa : The Museum of New Zealand wanted to update part of their Awesome Forces exhibition. The space had to educate visitors about the different layers of the earth. Visitors begin at the outer layer, a living grass wall. Here they could pull out a digital core sample to see the layers. Travelling through the tunnel there are video peepholes, smells, audio and temperature changes and finally they move through a rear projected tunnel of moving lava towards the core.
